Urdhva Dhanurasana and Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana
Urdhva Dhanurasana is a foundational backbend which can be entered from the floor or back dropping back from standing (Iyengar calls the dropback entry, shown here, Urdhva Dhanurasana II). Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana is a one-legged variation. Urdhva Dhanurasana II is one of the closing backbends in Ashtanga Primary series.
