Parsvakonasana

The side angle pose is about opening the psoas line, the line of sensation that runs through the physical psoas and extends out along the same side to the palm of the hand and the arch of the foot. To feel the connection between those two ends, you have to hold the prana and apana in balance, and make an even reach through the front and back of the spine. The psoas line then opens like a hollow reed. And if the imagination is vivid, you can turn the posture so the upper hand reaches into the wind, and you might here the wind whistling through that reed, singing praises of the subtle body. This posture can also generate intense internal heat, which can felt as radiant warmth in the heart. Allow that warmth to spread through the body, and you begin to soften naturally in response. . video@sigis-mondi . Practice with me online: Or in propria persona
