Blender 2.8 Tutorial: Hook Modifier

Easily add a control point to manipulate the mesh in object mode using the hook modifier. Blender Docs: The Hook modifier is used to deform a Mesh, Curve or Lattice using another object (usually an Empty or a Bone but it can be any object). As the hook moves, it pulls vertices or control points from the geometry with it. You can think of it as animated Proportional Editing. While hooks do not give you the fine control over vertices movement that shape keys do, they have the advantage that you can select vertices directly for manipulation. #Blender #Tutorial #Modifier
