I wrote the song “Schatt’ger Wald in wilder Heimat“ in 2013, but somehow decided to put it on this EP now, which is more like an album anyway. “My Darkest Thoughts“ is more of a recent composition, written two weeks ago, and “Forever“ was also created in this month. The poem “Früelig“, meaning “Spring“, is a text in western alamannic language. There is not much to say about the compositions, except that they reflect my emotions over the last few months and years. Why is there a Swedish album title? Just because I am learning Swedish right now and I found the title to be suitable. To those who hate on the synthesizers and the emotional song “Forever“ - I produce the music I want to produce, and not some genre-authentic BM-mainstream. The songs in this EP are rather dark and more DSBM-fashioned. This EP is going to be my last new composition in this year, a “Best of Winterforst - Three years of total Schwarzmetall“ or something like that will be released on September 1st, 2015. In July 2016 I will return with Black Pagan Metal on a concept album about ancient alamannic Switzerland, similar to my debut album. The cover picture was taken by myself in December 2014 in the forest next to where I live.
