Meherabad - The Beginning

This half-hour film tells the story of Meher Baba’s first visit and stay at the rural property in India that would become known as “Meherabad“. Created for the Centenary of Meher Baba’s first visit there on May 4, 1923, it tells the history of this property and how it came to be a place of world pilgrimage. About this special place Meher Baba said, “In the future, Meherabad will be like Jerusalem. For my spiritual work, it is the best possible place.
