An Act Of God. Meher Baba’s 1956 Accident

“My Accident is no accident“ - Avatar Meher Baba An Act of God was created for the 50th Anniversary of Avatar Meher Baba’s second automobile accident which occurred on December 2nd, 1956 at Udtara, near Satara, India, and premiered at Meherabad on Dec 2nd, 2006. Meher Baba sustained serious injuries in the accident including a broken hip joint. His Mandali were also injured, including the death of Dr Nilu. An Act of God tells the story of the events leading up to and including the accident, by those who were there, Eruch Jessawala, Dr Goher Irani, Meheru Irani, Arnavaz Dadachanji, Meherwan Jessawala, Bhau Kalchuri and Rustom and Sohrab Irani.
