Titles read: “Sportshots - Popular sports and pastimes under the Cine-camera lens. Described by Charles Eade - “Sunday Express“ Sports Editor. This week Charles Eade presents ’Fencing’.“ London, probably Pathe Studio. Charles Eade shows us the three weapons used in fencing - the epee, the sabre and the foil - and the masks worn by fencers. We then see various pairs of British fencing champions, including two women, demonstrating the skills involved in the sport. Charles attempts to keep up a commentary, but is sometimes drowned out by the thuds of the fencers feet on the studio floor. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
