Titles read: “Sportshots No. 25 - Popular sports & pastimes under the Cine-Camera lens“. Superimposed beside the above title is C/U of Charles Eade, sports writer of the Sunday Express; he introduces himself and narrates the story. Location of events unknown - could be Poland? M/S of Polish athletes Miss Walsh and Miss Weiss (sp?) standing together in a field. Several shots of Miss Weiss putting the shot and throwing the discus; she has been sent to America to represent Poland in the Olympic Games. A slow motion shot shows her technique in detail. Miss Walsh is seen throwing the javelin and running in a race against a man; she easily wins. The race is seen in slow motion; Charles Eade jokes about her still being chased by that man.
