VS Snipe Ariquick - 10:18 The Professor Reveals His True Motives... - 13:25 === This is the image I managed to take while editing the footage. He and [redacted]’s Second Form are the only ones who still T-Pose before the fight starts. In the original release, pretty much everyone was doing this btw. I still have a funny pic of Stonekong showing his dominance from my previous walkthrough. I don’t really like this stage. Sure, I learnt how to navigate through it after several walkthroughs, but the fact still stands. It’s a Cyber Labyrinth that has a lot of visual and audio noise. For one, Alia has troubles with contacting the team, and second - all of the boss dialogue will be muffled, like it was heavily compressed. This stage is also the only one where the last type of Repliroid enemies can be encountered. They are called Musharoid. These samurai-like guys are slow but they can go through some of the walls on this stage, can shield themselves while dashing and also swing their katana. Maybe there’s some mythological explanation behind “walking through walls“ ability. You can defeat them just in a couple of shots if you’ll shoot Musharoid in the back. Otherwise the shots won’t even land. The second section is... not really good. It has a lot of teleporters that will flip the stage, inverting your controls in the process. It also has some big digital stone heads that can’t be destroyed which is so great. This section has an Armor Upgrade as well so try not to miss it, with other Repliroids in the stage (that still can be killed, mind you). I like this cyber jiisan, really. He also was voiced by Mugihito who is the voice of Sigma! And, according from what he says, Ariquick kinda knows the future. And not only Zero’s, but X’s as well, in a way. But he says nothing like that to Axl, which means that that info on his past or future doesn’t exist, or that Ariquick is just hiding it from the kid. Anyway, his weakness is pretty useless in this fight. The strategy with X’s Charge Shots or Zero’s Raijinshou (which is a riskier option, but it’s pretty useful) will work better than just hitting this boss with wheels that, sure, can go around the cylinder arena, but they can’t really aim on the enemies. Ariquick’s gimmick is his ability to change forms, becoming stronger and expanding his moveset with each transformation. The last phase is just a pandemonium so make sure to defeat the boss ASAP as he summons Laser Pods. OK, this scene is quite long and it happens as soon as Axl leaves Red Alert. Red is impressed by how the Professor managed to succeed at powering everyone up in such a short amount of time. But then the Professor starts to show his true colors and reveals that he had been actually poisoning the entire organization all this time through such power-up methods. Now he asks Red to get Axl back so he could get X’s data through boy’s Copying Abilities, and once that’s done, he’ll probably make his pals return to normal. That scene would’ve been so much better if Sigma had a better disguise...
