「ロックマンX2」Rockman X2 Playthrough (JP, English Translation) - Part 13, Sigma, Sigma Virus (FIN)

Check the man out! --------------------- You asked as to come to the Central Computer? Why does the map still show that we’re at the North Pole? Whatever, at least I knew the layout of this stage before I first visited it. This is the moment where things start to deviate from two playthroughs of the game. It’s nothing major, but still worth noting. For the alternative playthrough, check this video out: Sigma greets us in his new body - Neo Sigma. He also brings... Zero with the black armor. Sigma wants to see X and “Zero“ fight to the death for his own entertaiment now, but his plans get ruined by another, this time Real Zero showing up and destroying his “poorly made fake“. Sigma teleports away but Zero helps us get to the room where the bad guy went before running away to destroy the main computer which... stored Sigma’s consciousness if I get this right. May I say something before I’ll start describing the final fight? I know that Sigma’s color pallete is the result of color limitations of this console, but he honestly looks like his chest is partually naked and it feels extra weird. So, Sigma’s first form is actually pretty brutal if you don’t know what’s coming. I like how he can throw X across the room, this looks epic. Neo Sigma’s weakness is Sonic Slicer, but Charge Shot can be pretty useful here as well. His “Overdrive“ makes him use a technique similar to Charged Electric Spark from the previous game. Weird. Be constantly on the move and eventually you’ll defeat him. This actually was easier than Sigma’s first form from X1 because I wasn’t always able to cheese that fight quite well or... maybe I’ve become more skilled after playing these games so much... His second form is a giant wireframe 3D head that spawns lots of enemies, shoots lasers on the flow and tries to capture you inside of his hollow “body“. Because of the enemies, he just automatically becomes easier than Wolf Sigma as enemies tend to leave health and weapon pick-ups after being destroyed. I still needed to use two Sub-Tanks because I was afraid I can mess something up and get killed by ths 3D head. Also use Charge Shot to get out of Sigma’s head. Sigma Virus’ weakness is Strike Chain by the way. And thus... Sigma is defeated for the second time. He mentions how Zero is the last one of “Wi... num... bers...“ which is the first time we hear something about Zero’s origins. Too bad localization just removed all mentions of it from the game, ho-ho. X and Zero escape from the place just in time as it explodes. X is wondering how long he will continue on fighting, similarly to the last time, but at least now Zero can watch the sunrise he missed last time. Weirdly enough, this game didn’t have the actual credits, unlike the first title. Why? I dunno. And yes, I left a cliffhanger to the first GBC title. It will be the next title I’ll try to beat once I’ll be done with replaying X7... And yes, I’m gonna do that.
