Bonobo Apes Having A Big Pride Month Party

A special early video out today as Twycross Zoo had a Party. It’s Pride Month 2022 and the Bonobos are having a big party and having a blast! There isn’t a better place to hold the party. Bonobos are known for “make love, not war“ and their bisexuality. They have all sorts of decorations and goodies. Hearts with food stuck on them, colourful pipes with treats, banners and because we’ve got a heatwave at the moment a great refreshing layered ice treat with some veg in it. The doors are open and they come running out and investigate all the goodies. A little tug of war with the coloured pipe.
