Das erste Stück ist ein Walzer, hier gespielt in der Kombination einer schwedischen Säckpipa und der irischen Tin (/Alto) Whistle. Direkt im Anschluss kommt die Mazurka Shoe the Donkey, die auf irischen Sessions wohl niemand mehr so wirklich hören kann, aber durch die Wiederentdeckung des original traditionell irischen Biertanzes durch Simon Pfisterer und von mir eine gewisse Renaissance erlebt. Gegen Ende sind Scottish Smallpipes, schwedische Säckpipa und irische Tin Whistle vereint! ------- Two traditional pieces from Sweden / Ireland combined unconventional. The first tune is a waltz, played with a combination of a swedish Säckpipa and an Irish Tin (/Alto) Whistle. Following is the Mazurka Shoe the Donkey, which is a bit overplayed on Irish Folk Session, but it experiences a bit of a renaissance after the rediscovering of the original traditional Irish Beer Dance by Simon Pfisterer and me.
