Amtrak’s Lakeshore Limited train #49 NY to Chicago 07 20 2020

After postponing this trip in April because of the Covid-19 issues I finally made the trip on July 20th. I had a roomette to myself and it was a comfortable trip. The viewliner diner was a beautiful car that I had all to myself. There were only 10 or 12 passengers in the 2 sleepers on the end of the train and most people had their meals delivered to their rooms. Meeting people on the train has always been an enjoyable part of the trip but under todays circumstances that wouldn’t be part of the trip. Other than that I totally enjoyed being able to ride the rails again. Enjoy
