P42 #201 Lead’s Amtrak’s Lakeshore Limited #449 Rolling Through Palmer, MA

Amtrak #449 had to cross over to enter the single track main (becoming a single track mainline at Palmer) in order to pass a CSX work train, which was on track one. Usually #449 barrels through at the 60 mph track speed on the mainline. P42 #201 leads the Westbound Lakeshore with a smidge of horn, and #110 trailing. The consist was all phase five and 4b. Take note that the consist had an Amfleet II cafe instead of the usual Horizon dinette. Enjoy!
