Yoga is in my opinion a fantastic complement to martial arts. Here are two basic sequences that I highly recommend. In the video they are performed at a faster pace for the purpose of easy viewing (so you don’t get bored). Typically the movements last the length of the breath (as in Sanchin kata). Breathing is nasal only. “Locks“ are a part of the protocol also but beyond the scope of this short video. For maximum benefit perform sequence 1 a minimum of three times consecutively then repeat for sequence 2.
