Blender 2.7* OpenGL Sub Surface Lighting Test (Tutorial)

This is a test example of a sub surface scattering type material that uses lights as illumination for an external material layer and as a mask for an internal sub surface material. The combination of several material layers utilizes light energy in different ways by proximity to generate the effect. It’s a pretty simple idea... more straight forward than some other complex node arrangements that accomplish a similar effect. It operates in real time using OpenGL and GLSL shading mode.
