Sydney bishop forgives church attacker

A bishop stabbed in the middle of a church service in Sydney has forgiven his alleged attacker. In an audio message, Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel said he is doing fine after the attack but said that the answer was “never an eye for an eye“. The attack at the Assyrian Orthodox Christ The Good Shepherd Church occurred just two days after a man went on a stabbing rampage in a Sydney shopping centre.
