Water Cooled Mini-ITX Review: Dan Case A4-H2O Thermals, Noise, & Cable Management

Sponsor: Thermal Grizzly Kryosheets and Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Paste (Amazon - ) This review looks at the DAN Case A4-H2O Mini-ITX enclosure, as cross-branded by Lian Li. The Lian Li x DAN A4-H2O has a heightened vertical dimension to better support the thickness of fan radiator cooling solutions, and its existence is largely (clearly) predicated on use of a liquid cooler (CLC or AIO). For that reason, we’re doing all of our testing with a 240mm liquid cooler today, as that’s the most likely use case. We are still ramping on our ITX testing approaches and have already made some changes for the A4-H2O review from our prior Terra review, but you should still check out the Terra for some basics and testing philosophy. In this one, we’ll talk about whether the DAN A4-H2O is worth the size increase for the cooling advantage. Please comment below and tell us which ITX case to review next!
