4K CABVIEW Rudnica - Raška - Kraljevo (Scenery mountains along the Ibar river valley)

The railway line from Rudnica to Kraljevo stretches through the winding and picturesque valley of the river Ibar. That section is part of the railway line Kraljevo - Kosovo Polje - Skopje, the former main corridor through central Serbia and Kosovo. Today, the passenger rail traffic took place between Rudnica (station near the administrative line between Serbia and Kosovo) and Kraljevo. This line connects the Raška region with the rest of the rail network. Freight rail traffic exists between Raška and the north. This non-electrified, single track railway line, 77,3km long is laid through 15 tunnels and over many bridges. All 15 railway tunnels between Rudnica and Kraljevo are of the old type of construction, mostly built of stone. The longest tunnel is “Dželep“, 1100m long. All 7 large steel bridges over the Ibar River have similar steel structures. These large steel bridges of lattice construction are approximately the same length, about 100m.
