Kenyan court suspends police ban on protests, what’s next for the country?

US embassy in Kenya has warned anti-government protesters to relent, describing those seeking change in far from a flattering light. It comes as the country’s High Court suspended a ban on protests in Nairobi. Police had earlier forbidden the demonstrations, citing public safety reasons. Chief Legal Counsel for Kenya’s Opposition Azimio Party Paul Mwangi says it’s the authorities which are ultimately responsible for the violence and casualties.
