UK colonel rejects Kenyan courts right to judge his troops on murder charges

Kenya’s courts don’t have jurisdiction to judge British soldiers, a UK military officer has stated. Colonel Andrew Wilda’s troops have been charged with killing a young Kenyan woman in 2012. The officer’s comments come after a Kenyan court reopened a probe into the death of Agnes Wanjiru, whose body was found in a hotel septic tank two months after she disappeared, near where London runs a training camp for its military.
