Today proved to be a true test with treacherously choppy waters and winds in excess of 30 knots greeting the competitors first thing in the morning, before the wind slowly dropped throughout the day to a more marginal 7-15 knots. However, the level of drama didn’t decrease with the wind, with some significant changes late in the day, which may yet prove pivotal in the races for the respective world titles.
