Unfortunately, the early skippers’ meeting on day three of the 2023 Fly! ANA Yokosuka, Miura Windsurf World Cup didn’t pay off on this occasion with the wind being scuppered by gloomy skies and drizzle, while temperatures remained chilly throughout. After a morning spent on hold things did improve slightly during the afternoon as things began to brighten up, which caused a flurry of action shortly before 2pm with winds from 7-14 knots on the course. Unfortunately, the wind didn’t last long enough to finish an entire elimination, but the opening round of the Men’s fifth elimination was completed.
