Richard Crooks - Because (1930)

B-side of “For You Alone“, released in 1930. Most great tenors have recorded this song, from Enrico Caruso onwards. Written in 1902 by Guy d’Hardelot and Edward Teschemacher. Perry Como had a hit with the song in 1948. I have also posted a version by Jan Peerce.
