EC 211 train ride through the whole of Slovenia, from Austrian to Croatian train border station. It is a ride over two main railway lines of Slovenia, Jesenice - Ljubljana and Ljubljana - Zidani Most - Dobova. The ride starts at mountain area of Karawanks and Kamnik–Savinja Alps in the northern part of Slovenia. Then the train descends the Sava River valley towards Bled, Kranj and Skofja Loka. The ride continues along the flat plain to the central main railway station in Ljubljana. It follows by a fast ride up to 120 km/h through a bunch of tracks, junctions, line separations and industrial centers of Ljubljana. There are the Ljubljana thermal power plant, intermodal terminal, oil terminal, large railway depot and marshalling yard Ljubljana Zalog. Not long after the marshalling yard the railway line again enters the narrow Sava river valley.
