In this episode of Tone Check we grabbed one of our favorite guitars from our retail showroom and gave it a Tone Check workout! This is the new Grestch G6120T-BSSMK otherwise known as the Brian Setzer Nashville ’59. This gorgeous guitar has been a favorite with our customers and we decided it was high time to feature it on the show! Get Yours From Cream City Music Here: This guitar pays homage to Brian’s original 1959 Chet Atkins 6120, with mods including a Pinned Adjusto-Matic bridge, removed zero fret, and Gotoh locking tuners. The neck shape and radius are also a bit different from a stock ’59, with a soft “V” shape and an exceptional 9.5” to 12” compound radius fretboard. The TV Jones Classic pickups and a pinned bridge make this a versatile Gretsch capable of a great variety of sounds, from vintage style clean tones to high gain rock & roll.
