JAS39 “Gripen“ enters the Dynalis Air Force - War Thunder Cinematic

Discord Invite: The Dynalis Air Force was concerned about the newer Russian-made aircraft, such as the SU-27SM, which could easily outmatch the F-15 and potentially the F-16C in close-range engagements. Recognizing the significant threat posed by these advanced adversaries, Dynalis aircraft were at serious risk of being shot down in close combat. The F-16AM upgrade to the F-16A Block 15, intended to ensure air superiority in close quarters, was delayed due to budget cuts, waning interest, and the limited availability of the French Air Tech tree. Meanwhile, the JAS39, with superior maneuverability and similar missile capabilities, emerged as a formidable option. The primary advantage the F-16AM held over the JAS39 was the MAW system. Consequently, the Dynalis Air Force made a historic purchase, ordering 60 of these aircraft—the largest acquisition in Dynalis history as of July 2024. These new fighters were immediately put into service upon arrival and are expected to serve until 2026.
