Germany Pledges $19 Billion In Weapons For Ukraine, Russia Claims 5,000 Drones Downed So Far

Ukraine recently recovered the bodies of 62 fallen soldiers from occupied territories, some of whom succumbed to injuries, diseases, and inadequate medical treatment. These fallen soldiers will be returned to their families for a dignified burial, in accordance with the principles outlined in the Geneva Conventions. The conflict between Russian forces and Ukraine has witnessed a significant number of casualties, including the destruction of over 5,000 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), according to the Russian Defence Ministry. In an effort to support Ukraine, Germany has committed to providing $19 billion in arms deliveries until 2027. The aid package includes various weaponry and munitions, such as anti-air guns, military vehicles, missile systems, and tanks. While President Volodymyr Zelensky has requested additional weapons, such as fighter jets and long-range cruise missiles, Chancellor Olaf Scholz has not yet agreed to provide them. #ukraine #germany #russia #worldnews n18oc_world n18oc_crux 0:00 INTRODUCTION 0:56 “OVER 5,000 UKRAINIAN DRONES DOWNED SO FAR“ 1:36 SUMY OBLAST SHELLED “110 TIMES IN A DAY“ 2:11 GERMANY’S ARMS AID FOR UKRAINE WORTH $19 BILLION CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
