In a dialogue between Śiva and Devī it teaches 112 ways of entering supreme consciousness or becoming the Divine. These ways also contain practices starting from experiences of daily life, and therefore this text is a useful guide for spiritual practice even today. Bettina Sharada Bäumer is a scholar of non-dualist Kashmir Śaivism and a disciple of its great master Swami Lakshman Joo of Kashmir (1907-1991). She has translated and commented upon a number of texts from the tradition and has been teaching them in her retreat-seminars for the last 20 years. She was Professor of Religious Studies at Vienna University and elsewhere. She has authored and edited about 22 books related to Indian philosophy and spirituality. The present video is based on one of her teachings in Rishikesh. For more information visit the official website
