Yodo Kurahashi II performs “Jinbo Sanya”, a Traditional Japanese Shakuhachi Honkyoku. Recorded at Tenri Cultural Institute in New York, 2019.
Yodo II (Yoshio) is renowned for his sublime playing and for traveling around the world teaching the Shakuhachi. He continues the legacy of his father Yodo I of Kyoto, who also taught Ronnie Reishin Nyogetsu Seldin.
Ronnie established the largest Shakuhachi dojo outside of Japan in NYC beginning in the 1970s, producing a new generation of masters in the west.
