Kea leaves Jersey Zoo

🦧 It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our much-loved orangutan, Kea, leaves Jersey Zoo on Monday 13th June. 🏡 She is heading for her new home at Dortmund Zoo in Germany, where she will join another orangutan group, which includes another youngster of the same age. 💕 Since Kea’s “miracle birth” in 2013, she has been an adored member of the zoo’s orangutan family, and her sweet personality has been enjoyed by both staff and visitors alike. She will be greatly missed, but keepers say she is now ready to move on to a new home.
