Serpentine Swim Part 2 (1914-1918)

Serpentine Swim Part 2. This seems to be brief cuts from Serpentine Swim Part 1 (which is dupe of ON 076 C - Youth Triumphant). London. Shot of the group of cold-looking men standing on a jetty, wearing brief shorts or trunks (one seems to be wearing none at all! Naked man! But he has a swimming cap on - strange) and eventually jumping in one by one. Then we see middle-aged to elderly men wading through the water and being helped out of the shallows, presumably after the race. They look cold, old and pretty saggy, poor loves. This race is for the Peter Pan Cup, sponsored by JM Barrie. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
