When I moved to Arizona in 1994, I was just 24 years old, but I was able to afford a three-bedroom house with a backyard in North Phoenix for $87,000. In 2024, that house costs half a million. My daughter just turned 21. She has a great job, & she works so hard. She said to me, “Mom, I did the math. If I work every waking hour & save as much money as possible, I still won’t be able to afford a house in Arizona.“ The dead-end policies of Joe Biden & Ruben Gallego have made Arizona unaffordable for the next generation.
