Yevtushenko at UND 1986

Yevgeny Yevtushenko, one of Russia’s greatest poets, recited his poetry live at the University of North Dakota on April 11, 1986. I was able to videotape the performance using a borrowed VHS video camera. The VHS tape was stored until January 2016 when I digitized it to upload it onto YouTube. The video quality is poor but the audio quality is good enough to hear Yevtushenko’s beautiful Siberian Russian.
