CNC-slotting/shaping on a lathe (Haas TL-2)

Here, I’m showing CNC-slotting on a lathe. That’s an old trick. But doing that manually, might get really time consuming and boring. So if your lathe has spindle-orientation, this allows some interesting stuff. Like shaping a hex onto small screws (together with “Turning small & slender parts“). Or how about internal gears (as long as you can grind the tool to the correct shape)?
