Cinetopicalities In Brief No. 27 (1938)

Titles read: “CINETOPICALITIES IN BRIEF“. Various locations of events. At Stockholm Zoo in Sweden, we see several shots of the huge Varanus Lizard from Komodo Island. He walks around his small enclosure and in and out of his pond, flicking his tongue about. In Aquila, Italy, we see people parading through the town, wearing the traditional costumes of the surrounding mountain areas. Most of the costumes are quite ornate and heavily decorated. People in modern dress watch and applaud. In Adelaide, Australia, we see a man with a small chimpanzee that is drinking milk from a bottle. The chimp has a chain round his neck that the man keeps hold of under his foot (horrible). They play cards together, then the monkey puts a cigarette and a pipe in his mouth. The man tickles the chimp who squeals with delight - he looks very cute. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
