Cinetopicalities In Brief No. 31 (1938)

Titles read: “CINETOPICALITIES IN BRIEF“. Various locations of events. In the state of Washington, United States of America, we see salmon being transported up river by little wagons, because the Coulee Dam on the Columbia River disrupts their natural instinct for going back to their birthplace to lay their eggs. In Montana, United States of America, we see a huge flock of sheep and lambs being herded across the countryside and into (of out of) a ranch by men on horseback. In New Jersey, United States of America, we see engineers spreading huge lengths of cotton fabric over warm tar on a road. More tar is sprayed over the cloth, then gravel is spread over the top. We then see the latest fashions in hats and evening gowns - probably in America, again. The hair is piled high on the head, and hats are perched on top. One of the evening gowns is a candy-striped dress with small puffed sleeves, worn with a Victorian-style mantle. FILM ID:1178.3 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHA
