Gothic Scripts - Fraktur and its attendant Flourishing! August 5th & 6th, 2023. I have been wanting to teach Fraktur for such a long time but I wanted to add in its attendant flourishes, of which there are a few varieties of flourishing types. Writing in white on black is another order of difficulty but it also allows you to work on other aspects of the writing like accuracy of letters whilst working with a thicker ink, using the ink to write not the nib, staying between the lines, feeling the sharpness of the edge of the nib, splattering!
