Released by our friends Realm and Ritual last week and already sold out, this ep embraces some of the themes of the 90s progenitors of the scene, addressing the turbulent history of imposed Christianity and predatory colonialism in Northern Sápmi. These four raw, visceral tracks don’t just stop there – they take their howling riffs and rattling percussion, mixing bleak ambience into emotional themes of dejection, frustration and resistance at the clash of cultures, with lyrics performed in Swedish, Meänkieli and Sámi.
