Gloria Lynne “I Wish You Love“

I have previously uploaded Keely Smith’s excellent version of “I Wish You Love,“ but here is another terrific version recorded by Gloria Lynne in 1963 on the Everest label, reaching #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, #10 on the Easy Listening, and #3 on Cashbox Magazine’s R&B chart in 1964. It was included in the LP of the same name which is available on CD on Essential Media. The song was originally written in French by Charles Trenet and the English lyric by Albert Beach.
