Accompanied by a biting remix from rising star Valerie Ace, the project also showcases futuristic 3D visuals created by visual artist Jose Vigers. The tracks encompass precious elements characteristic of Samantha’s work, including gritty basslines, raw vocal stabs, acid lines, and roaring kicks. Samantha describes the EP, stating,“While writing these tracks, I experienced a constant surge of ambivalent emotions within me—spooky yet uplifting, creepy yet joyful, shadowy yet ecstatic. Confessions Of A Mask unveils a hidden meaning and a distorted perspective on a world driven by machines, urging us to redefine our perception of emotions.“ Originally from Italy and now based in London, Samantha Togni has become a central figure in the city’s underground scene. Samantha is also the founder of Boudica, a platform that aims to give visibility to trans , non-binary, and female individuals in music.
