Samantha is a prominent figure in the world of Electronic Music with releases under her belt on labels such as Noise Manifesto, Stay Up Forever and Voxnox. Boudica is a platform founded and curated by Samantha Togni, that aims to give visibility to women, trans* and non-binary artists. It was launched in 2019 and has since evolved into a series of club events in London at The Pickle Factory, FOLD and E1, a radio show, a music conference and a record label. Their label, which was launched in 2022 and supported by Arts Council England, features Feminyst, Nur Jaber, Wanton Witch, and founder Samantha Togni. The project garnered support from major music publications and resulted in a second VA release, once again backed up by Arts Council England. The EP opens with “Tender Is The Night,“ a bass-heavy track intended to conquer the world’s sound systems. The artist’s recognizable vocal samples urge the listener to dance. Next, we are transported to “Lady Of The Flies,“ which exemplifies Samantha’s unwavering desire to experiment. The versatile sound perfectly complements a variety of settings, with a captivating bass melody to hypnotize the audience. “Time Of The Wolf“ lives up to its name with its fierce intensity and dancefloor-ready beat, interlaced with moments of stripped-back energy.
