Candie’s Gala Recap

The Candie’s Foundation celebrates their 10th Anniversary with events to promote May 4th National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy and May National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month. Sixteen year-old YouTube sensation, Keenan Cahill, performed “You Can’t Hurry Love“ in Times Square in front of a 40 foot bottle, surrounded by 75 mock-pregnant girls to symbolize that 750,000 girls get pregnant every year and The Event to Prevent evening benefit featured performances by Aretha Franklin and Bruno Mars and honored Ciara, Elizabeth Berkley and Sara Brown from the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.
