David Lynch Foundation’s Bob Roth at event in honor of veterans and students

On June 8, 2011, the David Lynch Foundation held a gala at American University in Washington, DC in honor of the launch of Operation Warrior Wellness DC - an initiative to teach 10,000 veterans suffering with PTSD and their families the Transcendental Meditation technique. Firsthand experiences by filmmaker David Lynch, CNN anchor Candy Crowley, bestselling author and renowned psychiatrist Dr. Norman Rosenthal, and distinguished meditating veterans produced an emotionally charged and profoundly informative evening. In this clip, DLF vice president Bob Roth by recognizing several of the leaders in our Nation’s Capitol— incredible change-makers in Washington, DC—who have provided the funds and organizing power to bring this life-changing technique to those who need it most.
