Vernasca Silver Flag 2021: Auto Avio 815, Kimera EVO37, Stratos HF, TVR Griffith 200, Maserati A6GCS

This video is about the 2021 Vernasca Silver Flag, an event born in mid 90s as a revival of the historic Castell’Arquato-Lugagnano-Vernasca hillclimb held from 1953 to 1972. The route (closed to traffic) is about 9 km of which the first 5 are with straight roads, while the final part consists of a nice winding road. The Silver Flag isn’t a competitive event but a simple parade of some of the most beautiful and important cars of the past, plus the addition of guests with more modern ones. For this 25th edition the organizers managed to bring to the event some really interesting vehicles such as the only remaining Auto Avio Costruzioni 815, the first car built by Enzo Ferrari in 1940 but which due to a legal issues with former associates Alfa Romeo wasn’t possible to be branded as a Ferrari, or the Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta Pinin Farina considered as the most beautiful Maserati ever made. There were also numerous rally icons at this edition, with a great group of Lancia Stratos and Lancia Rally 037s. Hope yo
