Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 at Vernasca Silver Flag 2022: 4-cylinder engine sound!

During the 2022 Vernasca Silver Flag I managed to record this beautiful Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 entered and brought to the event by Simon Kidston. The Silver Flag is an event born in mid 90s as a revival of the historic Castell’Arquato-Lugagnano-Vernasca hillclimb held from 1953 to 1972. The route (closed to traffic) is about 9 km of which the first 5 are with straight roads, while the final part consists of a nice winding road. The Silver Flag isn’t a competitive event but a simple parade of some of the most beautiful and important cars of the past, plus the addition of guests with more modern ones. At the beginning of the 1960s, Alfa Romeo started a project for a sports car characterized by a tubular frame, a well-finished aerodynamic light alloy body and Giulia-derived mechanics. The car was named Giulia TZ (or TZ1) and it was unveiled during the 1962 Turin Motor Show.
