Time lapse of a cicada caught in Phoenix, Arizona molting from nymph stage to adult on June 23rd, 2010. Shot with a Canon 50D at ISO800, Av=14, Tv= with a Canon 50mm EF f/1.8 II lens mounted with a Canon EF 25 II Extension Tube. Processed with Canon Digital Photo Professional RGB Contrast=5, Saturation=150, Sharpness=300, and Luminance/Chrominance Noise=20. Resized to 1920x1080, then saved as 16-bit TIF. Still frames imported and processed in Final Cut Express and saved as an Improved MPEG-4 1
