This WW2 Parachute Ration was used on emergency bailouts and landings. Produced for less than one year, this MRE is one of the rarest. Essentially a K Ration in a can - this is a pioneering survival ration that by 1944 became the Emergency Parachute Ration. Then evolving into Food Packet Survival Arctic and Survival Tropic in 1950.
