Hi friends , Wishing you all a Happy Holi ! This 80s iconic 80s chartbuster is a song by a Norwegian Synth-pop band , a one-hit wonder and Grammy nominated band ‘A-ha’. The Synth-Pop , New-Wave song was released originally in 1984 with its newer version in 1985. It was orinally written by Magne Furuholmann , Market Harket and Pal Waaktaar ; produced by Tony Mansfield. The newer version was produced by John Ratcliff & Alan Tarney under the label – Warner Bros for A-ha’s debut studio album – ‘ Hunting high and low’. In 1985 , the song reached at no.2 on the UK Singles Chart and it topped the Billboard’s Hot 100 in the US. The video won 6 awards and was nominated for 2 other at the 1986 MTV Music Awards. The song peaked at no.1 in Norway , among top-3 in France and no.2 in Ireland.
