HMS Anson completes her first trim dive

The 5th Astute-class submarine HMS Anson has completed her first trim dive in Devonshire dock at BAE Systems shipyard in Barrow. This successful exercise proved the safety and stability of the 7,400-tonne, 97-meter long attack submarine. It is an opportunity to test the boat’s internal weight, prove water-tight integrity and test sensors. Video: #BAESystems #Submarine
